Team Value and Skills

Jacquelyn Daley is a professional land use planner in McCarthy Tétrault’s Real Property & Planning Group in Toronto. She supports a wide range of private and public sector clients by providing planning advice on development proposals, government policy and regulatory documents. Jacquelyn works closely with our municipal lawyers preparing for and attending, administrative tribunal hearings, and court proceedings; including the preparation of witness statements, motion records, exhibits, notices and related research. She prepares official plan and zoning by-law amendments, as well as various municipally-related agreements. Jacquelyn also supports our real estate lawyers and provides opinions with respect to zoning compliance as part of the due diligence process. She also is a supporting mentor to student planners, articling students and new planners and municipal associates.

Experience

Jacquelyn has extensive experience securing municipal development approvals for clients, and involved with large scale redevelopment applications with a regional focus, as well as individual developments. Assuming a project manager role, Jacquelyn works with client development teams to liaise with municipal and other government representatives to problem solve and achieve client objectives. Her excellent contacts with local municipal administrators, writing skills and technical knowledge of municipal land use control documents are an asset to client teams and the Real Property & Planning Group.
