France holds a Juris Doctor (Summa Cum Laude) and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa. Studying business and law simultaneously provided her with a unique skillset tailored to a career in corporate law. Prior to attending law school, she served a Member of Parliament as an aide in the House of Commons. As Editor-in-Chief of the Ottawa Law Review, she led a team of editors – one hundred strong – in the advancement of legal scholarship while promoting a diversity of opinions and fostering an engaging work environment. Fluent in English and French, France has deep roots in Northern Ontario.
