Wood Group sells Nuclear Business to Kinectrics

On December 17, 2017, Wood Group PLC (formerly AMEC Foster Wheeler PLC), a UK based company, closed the sale of its North American nuclear operations businesses to Kinectrics Inc., followed by the sale of its Romanian nuclear operations businesses on January 26, 2018. These acquisitions create a stronger platform for increased innovation, product development and international expansion for Kinectrics.
Wood Group, headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, is listed on the London Stock Exchange. It is a multinational energy services company that provides a range of engineering, production support, maintenance management and industrial gas turbine overhaul and repair services to the oil & gas, and power generation industries worldwide.
Kinectrics is a privately owned company based in Toronto, Canada. It is a global provider of integrated life cycle management services to the electric power industry.
