On October 3, 2007, Visa International Service Association (Visa International), Visa U.S.A. Inc. (Visa U.S.A.), Visa Canada Association (now known as Visa Canada Corporation (Visa Canada)) and other members of the Visa enterprise completed a global restructuring through a series of mergers, exchanges and similar transactions. Upon completion of the restructuring, Visa International, Visa U.S.A. and Visa Canada became subsidiaries of the newly-formed Visa Inc.
