On August 29, 2024, True North Marine Inc. ("TNM"), was sold to Swiss-based Accelleron.

TNM, headquartered in Montreal, provides weather routing guidance and voyage optimization, including consulting services from pre-voyage estimates to post-voyage claims, ensuring safe navigation and cost-efficient execution of voyages. TNM is an expert in assessing voyage performance according to charter party agreements on fuel consumption, emissions and other operational criteria. TNM has grown rapidly over the past 10 years, and today has 50 employees and regional representation in the U.K., India, China and Greece. TNM company has a global customer base of approximately 800 ships.

Accelleron, headquartered in Switzerland, is a global leader in high-power turbocharging technologies, focusing on improving engine efficiency and reducing environmental impact by developing, producing, and servicing turbochargers, fuel injectors, and digital solutions.
