Skyservice Business Aviation announces agreement to purchase interests in Fontainebleau Aviation's fixed-based operators

On October 17, 2023, Skyservice Business Aviation ("Skyservice") announced its agreement to purchase interest in Fontainebleau Aviation's ("Fontainebleau") fixed-based operator at Miami Opa-Locka Executive Airport and a new fixed-based operator currently under construction at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, and the investment remains subject to customary approvals.
Skyservice, headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, is a business aviation company that operates fixed-based operation facilities, manages aircrafts, and charters private jets.
Fontainebleau, based in Opa Locka, Florida, is a real estate development and hospitality group that builds, owns, markets and operates properties in the hospitality, gaming, residential, retail, commercial and luxury services sectors.
