Rexel completes acquisition of WESCO’s utility distribution business

On February 1, 2021, Rexel acquired the Canadian utility business of WESCO International (WESCO). This acquisition was completed in connection with a consent agreement between WESCO and the Competition Bureau of Canada. Through this transaction, Rexel will now have enhanced development opportunities and will offer an expanded and complementary range of products to its customer base.
Rexel, through its Canadian subsidiaries, is a leading distributor of electrical products with operations throughout Canada.
