On August 23, 2024, Quest Diagnostics completed its C$1.35 billion acquisition of LifeLabs from OMERS. Through this transaction, LifeLabs retains its brand, Canadian headquarters and management. Quest Diagnostics will provide LifeLabs with new expertise, innovations and resources, including improved online appointment scheduling and faster patient service centre processing.

Quest Diagnostics, based in Secaucus, New Jersey, provides diagnostic insights from the results of its laboratory testing to empower people, physicians and organizations to take action to improve health outcomes.

LifeLabs, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, is Canada’s leading provider of laboratory diagnostic information and digital health connectivity systems, enabling patients and healthcare practitioners to diagnose, treat, monitor and prevent disease.
