On May 31, 2006, Keely Peak ULC, a company controlled by private developer Don Simpson of Denver, Colorado, purchased a one-third interest in Revelstoke Mountain Resort in Revelstoke, British Columbia. Until recently, Revelstoke Mountain was known as Mt. Mackenzie. It is virtually undeveloped with only a small chairlift and ticket office. However, in terms of development potential, Revelstoke Mountain is bigger than Whistler and Blackcomb combined and the ownership group's plan is to turn Revelstoke Mountain into one of the premier destination ski resorts in North America.
McCarthy Tétrault LLP represented Keely Peak, with a team led by Peter Pagnan.
