On September 8, 2022, Investissement Québec ("IQ"), Fondaction, le Fonds de développement de la Confédération des syndicats nationaux pour la coopération et l’emploi ("Fondaction") and Desjardins Holding Financier Inc.; Desjardins assurances générales inc.; Régime des rentes du mouvement Desjardins inc.; DSF Infrastructure I s.e.n.c. ("Desjardins") closed on an investment in Idealist Climate Impact Fund LP, a Montréal-based private equity capital fund with aggregate commitments of $250 million that will provide businesses with growth capital to accelerate the commercialization of proven solutions which generate positive climate impact.

IQ is a financing and business advisement company that helps various organizations establish themselves and thrive in Quebec.

Fondaction is a labour-sponsored fund that combines tax benefits of registered retirement savings plans with tax credits for investment funds dedicated to maintaining and creating jobs.
