Invenergy Completes C$2B Sale of 832 MW of Wind Power to TerraForm Power

On December 16, 2015, Invenergy Wind LLC completed the sale of 832 (net) megawatts of wind power plants to TerraForm Power, Inc. The total enterprise value of the transaction is more than $2 billion.
The closing encompasses four power plants, representing 754 MW (net) in the United States and one 78 MW project in Canada. As part of the agreement, Invenergy is retaining an approximately 10 percent equity interest and will continue as the operations and maintenance provider for the U.S.-based projects.
Invenergy LLC develops, builds, owns and operates power generation and energy storage projects in North America and Europe.
TerraForm Power Inc. is a diversified owner of clean power generation assets in developed global markets, including solar and wind projects in the US, Canada, the UK and Chile.
