Groupe Ortec acquires Englobe Corp.'s soil and organic waste treatment activities

On June 17, 2024, Groupe Ortec ("Ortec") acquired Englobe Corp.'s ("Englobe") soil and organic waste treatment activities in Canada and the United States, as well as of all of its activities in the United Kingdom and France. The acquisition will open the North American and UK soil and organic waste treatment markets to Ortec, while strengthening its activities in France. The entities purchased by Ortec include Englobe Environment Inc., Englobe Regeneration Canada Inc., Englobe Corp. U.S.A., Englobe France, Biogénie Site Remediation Limited, 9374-4571 Quebec Inc., and Centre de traitement de sols Pointe-Noire s.e.c.

Ortec, based in Aix-en-Provence, France, is an international integrator of high-value construction and engineering solutions.

Englobe, headquartered in Quebec City, Quebec, is a leading provider of environmental services, specializing in soil, materials, and environmental engineering.
