Gold Fields Limited forms 50/50 partnership with Osisko Mining Inc.

On May  2, 2023, Gold Fields Limited ("Gold Fields") acquired a 50% interest in a partnership with Osisko Mining Inc. ("Osisko") to develop and mine the underground Windfall gold project in Quebec, Canada (the “JV Transaction”). This joint  venture is now known as the Windfall Mining Group. Under the terms of the JV Transaction, Gold Fields, through a 100% held Canadian subsidiary, acquired a 50% interest in the feasibility stage of the Windfall project and a 50% interest in the highly prospective Urban Barry and Quévillon district exploration camps.

Gold Fields Limited is a globally diversified gold producer with nine operating mines in Australia, South Africa, Ghana, Peru and an advanced development project in Chile.

Osisko is a mineral exploration company  focused on the acquisition, exploration, and development of precious metal resource properties in Canada.
