On October 31, 2024, Garda World Security Corporation ("GardaWorld") closed the private offering of US$1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of 8.375% senior unsecured notes due 2032.

GardaWorld based in Montréal, Canada, is a privately owned integrated physical security, cash management and risk management company. 

McCarthy Tétrault acted as Canadian counsel to the initial purchasers with a team led by Sonia Struthers that included Laurence Cromp-Lapierre, Janie Lambert-Roy, François Dupuis, Ariane Monjauze and Michael Eldridge (Business) and Fred Purkey (Tax).
