On March 22, 2018, EllisDon Infrastructure KBT RER Inc. ("EllisDon") entered into a Project Agreement with Infrastructure Ontario and Metrolinx to design, build and finance the Kipling Bus Terminal project, for a total contract price of C$73 million. The Project includes the construction of a new interregional bus terminal as well as associated and interconnected infrastructure, such as the construction of tunnels and an overhead pedestrian bridge connecting the bus terminal to both the TTC Kipling Station and Kipling GO Station. These upgrades to the Kipling Bus Terminal will allow for increased GO rail service on the Milton GO corridor and will help support the Province's GO Regional Express Rail (RER) program.
