Corus Entertainment announces closing of Its offering of senior notes

On May 11, 2021 Corus Entertainment announced that it has closed its previously announced offering of C$500 million aggregate principal amount of 5.000% senior unsecured notes due May 11, 2028.
The offering was announced on April 23, 2021. The notes were offered through an underwriting syndicate led by RBC Capital Markets, TD Securities and Scotiabank, as joint bookrunners. Corus intends to use net proceeds of the offering to repay a portion of the outstanding indebtedness under its credit facilities.
