On March 1, 2019, Color Compass announced the completion of its acquisition of WD Co-Auto’s PBE Division. As WD Co-Auto’s preferred and exclusive supplier of body shop supplies, the partnership with  Color Compass will bring together around 300 staff members from both entities, and provide WD Co-Auto with access to the 14 outlets Color Compass has across Western Canada.

Color Compass is a subsidiary of WESCO Corp that specializes in the supply and distribution of collision repair products and industry specific collision repair training in western U.S. and Canada.

WD Co-Auto’s PBE Division caters to independent and member-dealer body shop customers across Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

McCarthy Tétrault LLP advised Color Compass with a team led by Robin Mahood that included Glynnis Morgan (M&A), Rob Nearing (Tax) and Justin Turc (Employment).
