On October 19, 2020 Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) completed its purchase and merger of two construction supply businesses, White Cap, which operated under HD Supply, and the Construction Supply Group (CSG).

This combined transaction is valued at approximately US$4 billion and has created the leading North American distributor of concrete accessories and specialty construction and safety products.
