On December 30, 2024, Brookfield Renewable Holdings ("Brookfield") and Temasek completed the acquisition of a 53.12% stake in Neoen for EUR 3.25 billion from Impala and other shareholders. Subsequent to the transaction, Brookfield will launch a mandatory simplified cash tender offer for the remaining shares in Neoen.

Brookfield, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, operates a globally diversified portfolio of renewable power and decarbonization solutions, including hydroelectric, wind, solar, distributed energy, and other sustainable solutions.

Neoen, based in Paris, France, is an independent producer of exclusively renewable energy with solar plants, wind farms and battery storage facilities across 15 countries.
