Brookfield Infrastructure and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan in its acquisition of Compass Datacenters from RedBird Capital Partners and Azrieli Group

On June 20, 2023, Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. (“BIP”) and existing investor, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement with RedBird Capital Partners and the Azrieli Group to acquire Compass Datacenters, LLC (“Compass”).

BIP is a global infrastructure company that owns and operates high quality, long-life assets in the utilities, transport, energy and data infrastructure sectors across North and South America, Asia Pacific and Europe. BIP is focused on assets that generate stable cash flows and require minimal maintenance capital expenditures. BIP is the flagship listed infrastructure company of Brookfield Asset Management Inc., a global alternative asset manager with approximately C$800 billion of assets under management. 

Compass, headquartered in Texas, United States, designs and constructs data centers for some of the world’s largest hyperscalers and cloud providers on campuses across the globe.
