On May 13, 2019, Bell Canada closed its public offering in the US of US$600 million aggregate principal amount of 4.30% Series US-2 Notes due 2049 priced at US$99.802 per US$100 principal amount for a yield to maturity of 4.311% and will mature on July 29, 2049.

Bell plans to apply the net proceeds from this US offering, as well as its C$600 million offering, to the redemption of its C$1 million principal amount of 3.25% Debentures, Series M-27, due June 17, 2020 and to the redemption of its C$400 million principal amount of 3.54% Debentures, Series M?37, due June 12, 2020.

Bell is the largest communications company in Canada and provides advanced broadband wireless, TV, Internet and business communication services throughout across the nation.

McCarthy Tétrault LLP advised BofA Securities Inc. lead of the syndicate of dealers with a team led by Fraser Bourne that included Isabelle Nazon and Rob Hansen.
