On September 7, 2023, Bank of Montreal ("BMO") completed a domestic public offering of C$1.15 billion of subordinated notes (Non-Viability Contingent Capital (NVCC)) (the "Notes") through its Canadian Medium-Term Note Program. The net proceeds from this offering will be used for general banking purposes.
The offering was issued through a syndicate of agents led by BMO Capital Markets.
McCarthy Tetrault advised the agents with a team led by Andrew Parker that included Jo-Anna Brimmer, Lama Kahiel (Business), Kabir Jamal and Kathryn Walker (Tax).
