Sylvie Vandal has more than 26 years’ of experience as a notary, and is recognized in particular for her skills in commercial real estate law. She has developed an expertise in title review and preparation of the related detailed reports. Sylvie assists lawyers from the Real Property and Planning Group in the preparation and review of legal documents and agreements related to real estate. She is also solicited as a legal expert by lawyers from the firm’s other groups.

Experience

Sylvie has acquired a broad range of experience over her career as a notary. After several years in a traditional practice, she spent a number of years working for a major notary’s office specialized in commercial real estate. She then reoriented her career to join McCarthy Tétrault in 2012. Sylvie is now involved in real estate acquisition, and financing.
