Solomon was born in London (UK) and also grew up in Brussels/Boston/Montreal before landing in Toronto. He obtained a B.A. (Honours Distinction) in International Relations and a M.S.W. both from McGill University. Before law school, Solomon worked at various legal clinics focused on newcomers and refugees.
Solomon graduated from the UofT Law (Class of 2019). He was the Class of 2019 Valedictorian, as well as the winner of the 2019 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award and the 2019 John Willis Award & Gina Caldarelli Memorial Prize for School Spirit. At UofT Law Solomon served as the President of the Students’ Law Society (2018-2019) and the Co-President of the Black Law Students’ Association (2017-2019) and Out in Law (2017-2018). Solomon also competed at the Julius Alexander Isaac Moot, where he was on the best respondent team and won the ‘Spirit of the Moot’ personal prize.
Solomon is a passionate baker and a fan of live music.
