Sheren Kamaei is an associate in our Labour & Employment Group in Toronto. She joined McCarthy’s after completing her summer and articling terms specializing in management-side labour and employment law within the public sector.

Sheren earned her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2023. During her time at Osgoode, she was a Dean’s Fellow for Tort Law and took on active roles in several organizations, including the Labour & Employment Law Society and Pro Bono Students Canada. She also contributed as a Clinic Fellow with Osgoode’s Environmental Justice and Sustainability Clinic. Sheren participated in competitive mooting, representing Osgoode at the Wilms & Shier Environmental Law Moot, where her team won third place in the 2022 competition. Additionally, she served as a research assistant for Professor Jennifer Nadler, contributing to research on Contract Law and Tort Law.

Before pursuing her legal studies, Sheren graduated with High Distinction from the University of Toronto, earning an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Ethics, Society & Law, and Peace, Conflict and Justice.
