Shanelle is a returning second year law student at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she is a proud member of the inaugural cohort. At Lincoln, Shanelle is one of the Founders and Co-Presidents of the Black Law Student’s Association in addition to being the Co-Founder and Vice-President of Internal Affairs for Innocence Lincoln. 

Before law school, Shanelle double majored in Psychology and Criminology & Socio-legal Studies at the University of Toronto. Shanelle is a Licensed Paralegal with over eight years of experience in the banking industry, where most recently, she worked as an Anti-Money Laundering Investigator. 

Shanelle spends most of her free time at the gym doing yoga or Pilates, and aspires to be a litigator who continues to give back to her community through community outreach and pro-bono services.
