Sarah Chen is a JD/HBA student at Western Law and Ivey Business School. She studied Political Science before entering the dual degree program. Prior to law school, she worked as a banking analyst at a financial institution, as a teacher’s assistant at Ivey, and as a consulting analyst at a corporate governance and executive compensation consultancy.
In law school, she was awarded the Earl Palmer Scholarship for her academic achievement and promise. This past summer, Sarah worked with CIBC’s in-house legal team on various corporate law matters. Sarah is involved with Western’s Pro Bono Students Canada chapter and Business Law Society. In addition, she is the co-chair of the East Asian Law Society Association and a Western Law Ambassador.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys weightlifting and spin classes, trying new restaurants and cafes from Yelp, and exploring farmers’ markets with her two dogs.
