Rita Iafrate is a recent J.D./M.B.A. graduate from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business. Before entering the dual degree program, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society and a minor in Philosophy.
In her final year of law school, Rita served as president of Osgoode’s Advocacy Society and was selected to represent Osgoode’s mediation team at the International Academy of Dispute Resolution tournament in Bologna, Italy. Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, she gained valuable experience working in-house at a real estate investment and asset management company where she worked on various matters related to private equity and commercial transactions.
In her free time, she enjoys creating new ice cream flavours, working out, and walking her dog Pluto.
