Rémi Gagnon is an associate in our Tax Group in Montréal. His practice focuses on transactional tax and, more specifically, cross-border tax.
Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, Rémi clerked for Chief Justice Marc Noël at the Federal Court of Appeal and practiced with a tax group at a major American firm in New York City.
Rémi received his bachelor’s degree in law from Université de Montréal in 2013, a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2014, and a Master of Laws in tax from New York University School of Law in 2017. He is a member of the Barreau du Québec, the Ontario Bar and the New York Bar.
