Rebecca Summers is an Associate in our Business Law Group in Toronto. She maintains a general corporate law practice focusing on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and capital markets.

Rebecca joined McCarthy Tétrault as a summer student in 2020 and completed her articles with the firm in 2022. She received her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, during which time Rebecca served as Senior Executive, Alumnae Relations of the Osgoode Women’s Network and as a Caseworker for the Community & Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP). Prior to law school, Rebecca graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Rebecca was called to the Ontario Bar in 2022 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario. She is a mentor for the Osgoode Women’s Network and volunteers with the Parkdale Community Food Bank.
