Rachel Meland is an associate in our Intellectual Property Litigation group in Toronto. Rachel’s practice focuses on intellectual property disputes, with an emphasis on complex patent litigation. Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, Rachel practised at an IP litigation boutique where she represented clients in patent, trademark and copyright litigation.
Rachel obtained her Honours B.Sc. in Chemistry, with a minor in Mathematics from McGill University before obtaining her joint BCL/LLB from McGill University. Rachel was called to the Quebec and Ontario bars in 2020 and is a member of both the Law Society of Ontario and the Barreau de Québec. She is bilingual in English and French.
