Prince Arora is an associate in McCarthy Tétrault’s National Tax Group, based in the firm’s Calgary office. He maintains a comprehensive tax practice with a focus on domestic and international corporate tax planning.
Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, Prince completed a judicial clerkship at the Tax Court of Canada.
Prince obtained his J.D. from the University of British Columbia, where he completed the Business Law Concentration. Along with several scholarships, he was the recipient of numerous academic awards, including the Thorsteinssons Prize in Taxation, the Fasken Martineau Dumoulin LLP Prize in Trusts, the Koffman Kalef LLP Prize in Business Law, and the Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP Prize in Contracts Law. While earning his J.D., Prince volunteered with various organizations, including the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, which provides legal advice to low-income individuals.
Prince was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2020 and to the Alberta Bar in 2021. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Law Society of B.C., the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Canadian Petroleum Tax Society, and The Advocates’ Society. Prince is currently on the steering committee of the Canadian Tax Foundation Young Practitioners.
