Preston Lim is currently a student at Yale Law School. He graduated from Princeton in 2017 with a major in Middle Eastern Studies. He went on to represent Canada as a Schwarzman Scholar, receiving a Master’s in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University in 2018. Preston also served as Policy Advisor to MP Erin O’Toole, and has lived and worked in Hong Kong, China, Turkey, and Azerbaijan.
Preston is actively involved in the Yale community, serving on several student boards and as an editor for the Yale Journal of International Law. His writing on foreign affairs and public policy has appeared in Lawfare, Just Security, the National Post, and the Toronto Star, among other outlets.
In his free time, Preston enjoys running, hiking, and playing the cello.
