Nywani is currently completing a Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor at McGill University. She holds an undergraduate degree in Great Books from St. Thomas University and a master's in English Literature from Dalhousie University. Following years of teaching English as a second language across Canada, Europe, and Asia, she transitioned into law.

During law school, Nywani took on active roles in student organizations, leveraging her background in education, communication, and writing. She served on the national communications committee for the Black Law Students Association and as VP of Communications for the Black Law Students Association of McGill. In 2L, she volunteered with LEX, the faculty outreach program for McGill Law, delivering legal workshops to local high school students. In 3L she became student coordinator for the LEX program. Nywani volunteered for three semesters at the Concordia Student Union Legal Information Clinic and competed in the Julius Alexander Isaac Moot at the Ontario Court of Appeal.

In her free time, Nywani likes walking her dog and cooking.
