Noam Uri is a partner in our Litigation Group in Toronto. She maintains a general litigation practice acting for clients on a variety of proceedings including commercial cases, class actions, regulatory proceedings, and medical malpractice.

Before joining the firm, Noam worked as a litigator at a professional negligence insurer and a litigator at a boutique law firm where she represented clients on a variety of civil matters. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and various administrative tribunals. In addition to her practice, Noam has been involved with the Ontario Bar Association and Canadian Bar Association in various roles including as Past Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Division Central Section. Noam has previously held roles on the Ontario Bar Association’s Council and Board of Directors and as an executive of the Canadian Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Section.

She received her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. At Osgoode Noam held an executive position in the Osgoode Women’s Network and the Jewish Law Student Association; was an editor on the TheCourt.ca; volunteered with Law in Action Within Schools; and participated in several mentorship programs. She was the recipient of a number of awards and prizes for her academic achievements and service to the Osgoode law school community, including the Honourable Paul Bentley ’77 Prize, and the Honourable Madame Justice Moira Lenore Caswell Award.

Prior to attending law school, Noam received a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from the Schulich School of Business.

Noam was called to the Ontario bar in 2016. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Advocates’ Society.
