Niusha Arbabi is counsel in the firm’s Real Property & Planning Group in Toronto. She maintains a general commercial real estate practice with an emphasis on commercial acquisitions and dispositions, joint venture and co-ownership arrangements, real estate private equity fund formation, real estate based financing transactions (including bilateral and syndicated bank facilities, pre-development loans, project financing and traditional mortgage lending), commercial leasing, property development, construction matters. She also regularly advises on real estate components to mergers and acquisitions.
Niusha’s clients benefit from her deep knowledge of commercial real estate and her ability to offer practical, timely advice throughout all phases of a transaction. She frequently advises property owners, developers, asset managers, private equity funds, hospitals, university and colleges and domestic and international financial institutions.
Niusha received her JD from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law in 2016. Prior to attending law school, Niusha received her Honours BA in Criminology (with Great Distinction) from York University in 2012.
Niusha was called to the Ontario bar in 2017. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, NAIOP, Young Women in Law and the Iranian Canadian Legal Professionals.
