Nicole Deniset is an associate in the firm’s Labour & Employment Law Group in Toronto.
Nicole advises and represents clients in a variety of labour and employment matters, including employment litigation, terminations, wrongful dismissals, labour arbitrations, collective bargaining, judicial review applications, human rights and occupational health and safety issues.
Nicole clerked at the Federal Court of Appeal in Ottawa during the 2018-2019 term, where she worked primarily in the area of federal administrative law. Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault in 2021, she practiced in the labour and employment group at a large full-service law firm in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Nicole received her Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba in 2018. While in law school, she worked as a Law Journal Editor and Legal Research Assistant, and received several academic awards. Nicole is fluent in both French and English.
Nicole was called to the Ontario Bar in 2021, and she is a member of the Canadian Bar Association.
