Known to be an active listener with a deep understanding of client needs and interests, Nicolas has been advising and guiding his clients for over 15 years. Drawing on a wide experience in strategic counselling, Nicolas seeks innovative approaches in bringing swift and practical solutions to every dispute.

A partner in our Litigation Group, Nicolas’ practice is focused on civil litigation, and more specifically on complex technical litigation requiring expert and elaborate evidence weaving. A significant part of his practice is dedicated to health law, acting counsel to physicians with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) in a wide array of actions and disciplinary matters. The human dimension remains at the center of his values. He also practices in environmental litigation and has acted in several major cases involving soil and groundwater contamination, as well as in important major nuisance cases.

Within the firm, Nicolas is an active mentor and recruiter of young talents. He has been a member of the Comité sur l’exercice illégal ( Illegal Practice of Law committee) of the Barreau du Québec and a member of the working committee on best practices of the Superior court- district of Québec. His community engagements include his role as chair of the Club de ski Stoneham and ambassador of the Canadian Cancer Society.
