Nicholas Trottier is e-Discovery lawyer in our Montréal office within MT>3, a division of McCarthy Tétrault. MT>3 is Canada’s leader in e-Discovery, information governance and the management of digital information.
His practice focuses on e-Discovery and electronic case and evidence management in civil and commercial litigation.
He is involved in the defence of class actions based on the liability of pharmaceutical manufacturers, as well as commercial litigation, particularly in banking law, fraud and securities, white collar defence, regulatory compliance, and internal investigations.
Nicholas received his LLB in 2001 from the Université de Montréal and his B.Sc. (biochemistry) in 1996 from McGill University, where he also studied computer science. In 2008, he received his postgraduate certificate in bioethics from the Université de Montréal.
Before and during his law studies, Nicholas worked for several years in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in manufacturing, regulatory affairs and information technology. Nicholas is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Québec bar.
