Natasha Petrof is an associate in our Litigation Group with a focus on commercial and corporate litigation, class actions, and professional liability. Holding both a B.C.L/J.D. from McGill University and an LL.M. from New York University, Natasha has advised clients throughout a variety of complex legal issues.
Natasha's legal experience includes representing numerous companies in class actions centered around data privacy and tech-related issues; successfully defending a financial institution in a trial over allegations of mismanaged accounts; and advising on an internal corporate investigation to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Furthermore, Natasha has engaged in appellate disputes and managed information access requests.
During law school, Natasha was involved in projects at the Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic and at The Future of Privacy Forum and conducted legal research for professors specializing in the field of privacy law.
