Nataly completed her JD at Queen’s University Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, she obtained her Bachelor of Health Sciences from Western University with an honours specialization in Health Studies. During her undergraduate studies, Nataly spent her summers working for a health food start-up, where she assisted the company in sales, marketing, and brand promotions.
During law school, Nataly co-founded and served as co-president of the Queen’s Venture Law Society, a club that is focused on innovative start-ups and the legal challenges they face. She also worked with the Queen’s Business Law Clinic (QBLC) as a volunteer and caseworker. At QBLC, Nataly assisted start-ups, non-profit organizations, and small business owners with their legal needs. During her time at law school, Nataly also worked to develop a consumer facing custom diamond jewelry brand for a wholesale diamond company.
In her second year of law school, Nataly was the recipient of the Queen’s Law Millennium Award, for her contribution to and participation in events and activities that defined the second-year class. In 2019, Nataly was awarded the Women’s Law Association of Ontario/Torkin Manes LLP Trailblazer Award. This award is given to a student that best exemplifies the qualities of effective business leadership, innovatively applied know-how, and potential for growth.
In her spare time, Nataly enjoys trying different barre studios around the city, reading, cooking, and listening to podcasts.
