Morgan is known for displaying diligence and sound judgment when assisting clients with their most complex litigation needs.
Morgan Watkins is an associate in our Litigation Group in Toronto. She is building a general litigation practice with a focus on commercial disputes, infrastructure and construction disputes, and professional liability. While articling at the firm, Morgan assisted with a variety of hearings and motions, including a summary judgment motion in a Canadian pharmaceutical class action, a P3 infrastructure project dispute adjudication, and a medical malpractice jury trial.
Morgan received her JD from The University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. In law school, Morgan was Co-Director of the Advocates for Injured Workers clinic, where she assisted clients with workers’ compensation and related employment and human rights matters. In her final year, Morgan was the President of the Students’ Law Society and received The University of Toronto (Gordon Cressy) Award for Student Leadership.
Before pursuing her law degree, Morgan worked in the Office of the Attorney General of Ontario. She received her Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) from McGill University in 2014.
Morgan was called to the Ontario bar in 2021. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association. Morgan serves on the Advisory Board for the Law Students’ Society of Ontario (LSSO).
