Morgan Watkins received her JD from the University of Toronto. Morgan was President of the University of Toronto Students’ Law Society and received the University of Toronto (Gordon Cressy) Award for Student Leadership.
In law school, Morgan was Co-Director of Advocates for Injured Workers, a Legal Aid Ontario clinic that provides services to low-income Ontarians. She worked at the clinic throughout law school, assisting injured workers with workers’ compensation and related employment and human rights matters. Morgan sat on various Dean’s Committees for the Faculty of Law, including the Truth & Reconciliation Implementation Committee, and was a member of the University Tribunal at the University of Toronto.
Before law school, Morgan worked as a policy advisor for the Attorney General of Ontario. Morgan received her Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) from McGill University.
In her free time, Morgan enjoys yoga and volunteering to support youth education and mentorship. She is a member of the advisory board for Get Lit Reads, a Toronto fundraising event that supports children’s literacy.
