Mira Novek is counsel in our Litigation Group in Toronto. She maintains a general litigation practice with a focus on commercial disputes and professional liability claims. She has argued before all levels of court in Ontario, as well as various administrative tribunals.
Mira’s commercial litigation practice includes assisting clients with a variety of litigation and regulatory issues, including commercial contract disputes, class proceedings, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, and regulatory proceedings.
Mira also has significant experience assisting clients with professional liability matters, and regularly acts as counsel for professional accounting firms in both civil and regulatory matters.
Mira received her law degree from McGill University, where she graduated on the Dean’s Honour List. She also holds a master’s degree in common law (BCL), awarded with distinction, from the University of Oxford and an undergraduate degree in Social Studies from Harvard University, where she graduated with high honours. Mira was called to the Ontario bar in 2011.
