Michelle Jacklin is an associate in our Business Law Group in Vancouver. Her practice is primarily focused on general corporate and commercial law, secured lending and project finance.
Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault LLP, Michelle was an associate at one of New York’s leading international law firms where she represented financial institutions and corporate borrowers in secured and unsecured financings, including acquisition financings, debt restructurings, and debtor-in-possession financings. Most recently, Michelle worked for one of the largest law firms in the Fraser Valley where she maintained a general corporate and commercial law practice.
Michelle received her B.A. from the University of British Columbia in 1995 and her LL.B. from the University of British Columbia in 2000. After graduating from law school, Michelle served as a judicial law clerk with the British Columbia Court of Appeal.
Michelle was called to the New York State bar and the British Columbia bar. She is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the New York State bar and the Canadian Bar Association.
