Martin Thiboutot is an associate in our Business Law Group in Québec City. His practice focusses on environmental and natural resources law, as well as procurement.
Martin acts on behalf of clients operating in a wide range of industrial sectors and participates in matters related to environmental compliance and obtaining permits required for industrial projects in Québec. He also advises clients on contractual procurement strategies and construction matters.
Martin obtained a bachelor’s degree in civil law from Université Laval in 2012 and ranked second on the Faculty of Law Dean’s List for 2012-2013. As part of the program, Martinhad the opportunity to spend one semester at Bucerius Law School of Hamburg, Germany, In the winter of 2014, he completed a Certificate in Mining Law at York University, in Toronto.
Martin is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and he currently acts as president of the Québec’s Environmental, Energy and Natural Resources section of the Association.
He is co-author of a publication on the air quality legal regime.
