Mark Risebrough graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa.  Prior to law school, Mark learned French at Laval University and received a Bachelor of Arts with first-class honours from St. Francis Xavier University.

Mark pursued his interests in advocacy and energy throughout law school.  Mark was an avid mooter and volunteered as a Case Worker for the Ticket Defence Program.  The TDP negotiates fine reductions and stays of proceedings on behalf of street-involved people at the Ontario Court of Justice.  He was also an Associate Editor for the Ottawa Law Review.  Outside of school, Mark worked with a prominent national organization that lobbied government in the field of energy transportation infrastructure.  Mark would like to develop a practice focusing on corporate litigation and energy-related regulatory matters.

Mark is a fervent badminton player and golfer, and loves to have dinner parties.
