Marie-Pier is a partner in our Real Property Group in Québec City. Her practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate law, with emphasis on energy, mines and industrial projects.
Marie-Pier has represented numerous buyers, sellers, investors and lenders as part of a wide variety of transactions, including building acquisitions, real estate financing for financial institutions and corporate borrowers, and commercial lease negotiations. She regularly advises developers and lenders with regard to the development, construction, financing and operation of projects in Québec, and is thoroughly familiar with the different aspects and issues in the fields, regardless of the client's position. She is known for her excellent writing skills and expertise in reviewing titles for both private properties and real estate within the public domain. In addition, she negotiates numerous agreements with government authorities as part of various assignments.
Marie-Pier also has deep experience in agricultural zoning, whether in the context of implementing projects in agricultural areas or the acquisition of farmland by non-residents. She has successfully completed numerous assignments that required the obtaining of authorizations from the Commission sur la protection du territoire agricole du Québec (CPTAQ).
Marie-Pier obtained her bachelor's degree in civil law from Université Laval in 2007 and was called to the Québec Bar in 2009.
