Marc-Alexis Laroche is an associate in our MT>iplus division, in Montreal. His practice is mainly focused on accompanying small, medium and large-sized companies in their efforts to recruit temporary foreign workers. Marc-Alexis also assists companies with the arrival of business visitors and in obtaining Canadian temporary work permit exemptions.
Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, Marc-Alexis worked at a boutique firm specialized in Canadian immigration law. During this period, Marc-Alexis advised companies operating in a wide variety of sectors, including pharmaceutical, food, manufacturing, and technology.
In his practice, Marc-Alexis likes to be creative in order to find concrete and pragmatic solutions to meet clients’ needs. He assists clients in their expansion projects or in filling vacant positions by advising them on the adequate immigration strategies that meet their operational and business needs.
Marc-Alexis holds a Bachelor’s degree of Civil Law (LLB) from the Université de Sherbooke. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Political Studies from the Université de Sherbooke. He was called to the Bar in 2020 and is a member of the Young Bar of Montreal and the Canadian Bar Association (CBA).
