University of Western Ontario

Madison is entering her final year of law school at the University of Western Ontario, whereupon entrance, she was the recipient of the Rawal Family Scholarship for her leadership and academic achievements. Prior to law school, Madison earned her Bachelor in Creative Industries (with Distinction), with a Minor in Politics from Ryerson University. During this time, she worked with arts service organizations on their advocacy initiatives, as a Court Reporter, and as a Researcher for an alternative dispute resolution firm.

While at law school, Madison worked as a Senior Caseworker at Community Legal Services, where she advocated on behalf of her clients in criminal defence, small claims, family and housing matters. Madison’s advocacy work does not end with CLS, but rather extends to her work as Co-President of OUTLaws, where she works to increase inclusion and visibility of LGBTQ+ students at Western Law. Additionally, Madison has worked to give back to the community as Project Coordinator of Pro Bono Students Canada’s I.D. Project, where she helps low income individuals apply for identification needed to access government programs and services.

In her spare time, Madison enjoys camping, biking around the city, and avoiding single use plastics.
