Lindsay is an incoming third-year law student at the University of Ottawa. Before entering law school, she obtained her undergraduate degree in Law and Society with Distinctions at the University of Calgary. Lindsay is an active member of the student body. As the recently elected Vice President of Social Affairs for the University of Ottawa Common Law Student Society, she is responsible for managing the Faculty’s social events. She is a mentor with the Allies in Law Programme, where she provides year-long guidance and support to first-year law students. Lindsay also served as an Event Coordinator for Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC), Ottawa Chapter.

Lindsay has a passion for volunteering and has been involved with the newcomer’s community throughout her undergraduate degree and beyond. This past year, Lindsay worked with the Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youths. As a conference speaker, she presented to immigrant youths about how she overcame adversity and fostered resilience. Professionally, Lindsay previously worked as an intern for a personal injury law firm and as an assistant for a real estate law firm.

Aside from her passion projects, Lindsay enjoys trying out new restaurants, singing karaoke, and spending time with friends and family.
